The Animal Health Centre is a family-run veterinary practice in Shrewsbury. Hendrik Fahrenholt, who owns and runs the Centre, is an experienced vet with an advanced RCVS accredited veterinary qualification (similar to a Human Hospital Consultant).

Longer appointment times (50% more than most vets, at no extra cost) and the fact that we have all modern medical diagnostic and surgical equipment means that we get to know our patients well & can spot and sort out health problems at an early stage. The Centre has been specially designed to comfort and relax your pets. If your pet stays overnight in our hospital, they receive the best veterinary care in comfortable and secure wards, with a vet on site through the night. Our emergency vet sees emergencies and urgent cases 24 hours, seven days per week, at our premises here in Shrewsbury.

The Animal Health Centre is the veterinary practice closest to Radbrook and Meole Village & is also convenient for the pets of Copthorne, Belle Vue, Kingsland, Coleham & all areas in and around Shrewsbury.

Our large private car park means you can park right by the entrance. We are easy to find, situated a couple of blocks down from the Priory and Meole Brace Schools, near to the Nuffield Hospital.
