Vets: Strachan Tyson & Hamilton - Newcastle upon Tyne

We love Strachan, Tyson & Hamilton. We live in Tynemouth so that surgery is the closest. We'll be sorry when we move away. Dr. Hamilton is our favourite. Our dog loves him so much (and she's usually nervous around vets) that we call him "her boyfriend." :) The practice is so good that we're going to try to keep going there even after we move out of town. Also, they don't charge exorbitantly, like if you come in for something and they tell you it's not necessary but they give you advice instead; there's no "consultation fee" like at some vets. You pay for what you get and nothing more....

I've taken my pets to the vets at Strachan Tyson and Hamilton for years now. For the good times and the heartbreak and give them a five star rating. At the Tynemouth surgery clients start queueing about half an hour before the place opens, so that should tell you how good they are. The vet you will usually find at the Tynemouth branch is one Mr Peter Hamilton who is completely fabulous, one if not the nicest vets you could ever hope to encounter. Among the others you may encounter at the Heaton surgery is another of the owners Mr Tyson who is another wonderful guy and who will take the time to explain stuff regarding your pet's condition to you in detail you will understand. Wonderful vets, if you are looking for a bunch of dedicated, knowledgeable and lovely bunch of animal doctors, don't go anywhere else! I certainly wouldn't!...
